Ofsted & SIAMS reports
In 2009 Ofsted judged the School to be outstanding in all areas, with particular emphasis given to a consistently high quality of teaching, a warm family atmosphere where pupils thrive and develop outstanding behaviour and attitudes.
The most recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection, carried out in 2019, rated the School to be Good in all areas. The report highlighted a number of areas, including "The pupils feel safe to express their views and be the person they are. Above all, they demonstrate a clear understanding that they should treat others with dignity and respect and this enhances their relationships with others." The School has an excellent reputation, with about half of our children travelling from outside our catchment area. The small setting and mixed age classes help to cement relationships across the School. Older children support the younger ones, creating a family atmosphere where children of every potential feel supported. This, in turn, helps pupils develop the skills, confidence and attitudes that will serve them well in later life. |
