Mrs H Roddy - Head Teacher

I have been teaching for 17 years, my passion being Science. As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE)  I am a teaching enthusiast and love inspiring children to learn and experience a range of new opportunities.

I am a passionate teacher as well as being a mum of two children. I currently lead on Maths, French, Art, Design & Technology and PHSE. A Specialist Leader in Education, I help aspiring teachers.

Miss J Berry -
​Early Years Practitioner

Early Years practitioner at Thrussington for over 15 years. I also founded and lead our Forest School. With a BA (Hons) in Early Years, I am passionate about providing the best possible start in education.

Miss Z Phillips - Class 3 Teacher

A Teacher for 23 years, with a love for teaching English, travelling and a fluffy cat called Bertie!

Miss A Oatey - Class 1 Teacher

After volunteering in the Philippines, I enjoy helping our children to understand the Philippines culture. I am the SENCo and coordinate the provision for children with special needs.

Mrs D Kear - Class 3 Teacher

I have taught within the primary age range for over 15 years. I'm currently teaching years 5 and 6 and am coordinator for History and Geography. In my free time I love to be out in nature with my family and friends.

Mrs V Barratt - Teaching Assistant

My role is to support Teachers, I am involved with intervention support with children, phonics, guided reading and SEN Involvement. With an art/creative background enables me to support exciting school projects.

Mr D Feasey - Teaching Assistant

I am a sport coach apprentice who loves music and sport. My favourite sports are football and cricket. I enjoy producing my own music and am currently training to be a sports coach at Loughborough college.

Mrs P Feasey - Teaching Assistant

I have been at the school for nearly 18 years.  I greatly enjoy watching the children grow and develop. I have two cats called Tommy and Lucy and I also enjoy reading.

Mrs S Whitehead - Premises Officer

 ​Living locally, keeping the Staff and pupils safe and making the school a pleasant place to be is very important to me.
